FOX will team up with iHeartMedia on the new music competition series THE FOUR: BATTLE FOR STARDOM. THE FOUR begins where most competitions end: with the four finalists. Four super-talented and fiercely competitive singers, chosen from their auditions by the show’s panel of music industry experts, will try to defend their coveted spots on the stage, as they are challenged individually by new singers determined to replace them. Each week, if any of the four are outperformed, they’ll go home and their challengers will take their place.

This was the first night of the talent competition. I’ll be posting the video of the final night. To my surprise, I ended up winning first place. I received a $500 check, a big trophy and a dozen red roses! It was a very emotional moment, I definitely feel blessed and honored to have been chosen. One big shout out to all the other performers! You guys were all incredibly talented! I sang one of my originals “Brand New Day”

Very Best of Bubblegum Pop | Classic 60s & Early 70s Compilation

Bubblegum pop is a subgenre of pop music emerged during the mid-1960s. This was directed especially to the pre-teens and teenagers of those times, and the public in general. The purpose of Bubblegum music is to create a catchy tune on his head, that lasts for days. And I’ve met some songs that fulfill this role. Enjoy.

And when you leave I knew it was forever
I think you’ll make it all better
I cried with the cats in my face
I cried my soul out in that place

You smell like cheap cigarettes
And we forgot about our bags
Getting drunk in bad taste wine
I’ll put your picture in my golden shrine

Freedom is just a name for what i want you to be
Freedom is just a name for what i want you to be

I miss your fresh cut hair
And you squeezing me like a bear
Your funny accent in that chinese neighbourhood
I think I misunderstood

Freedom is just a name for what i want you to be
Freedom is just a name for what i want you to be

Freedom is just a name for what i want you to be
Freedom is just a name for what i want you to
Be… Be… Be… Be
Freedom is just a name for what I want to you to

Harry Belafonte – Day-O/Jamaica Farewell/Jump In The Line – Magga Braco/Lyrics

Harry Belafonte (born Harold George Bellanfanti Jr.; March 1, 1927) is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and social activist. One of the most successful Jamaican-American pop stars in history, he was dubbed the “King of Calypso” for popularizing the Caribbean musical style (originating in Trinidad & Tobago) with an international audience in the 1950s. His breakthrough album Calypso (1956) is the first million-selling LP by a single artist. Belafonte is perhaps best known for singing “The Banana Boat Song”, with its signature lyric “Day-O”. He has recorded in many genres, including blues, folk, gospel, show tunes, and American standards. He has also starred in several films, most notably in Otto Preminger’s hit musical Carmen Jones (1954), Island in the Sun (1957), and Robert Wise’s Odds Against Tomorrow (1959).

Belafonte was an early supporter of the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s and 1960s, and one of Martin Luther King Jr.’s confidants. Throughout his career, he has been an advocate for political and humanitarian causes, such as the anti-apartheid movement and USA for Africa. Since 1987, he has been a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. In recent years, he has been a vocal critic of the policies of both the George W. Bush and Barack Obama presidential administrations. Harry Belafonte now acts as the American Civil Liberties Union celebrity ambassador for juvenile justice issues.

Belafonte has won three Grammy Awards, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, an Emmy Award, and a Tony Award. In 1989, he received the Kennedy Center Honors. He was awarded the National Medal of Arts in 1994. In 2014, he received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the Academy’s 6th Annual Governors Awards. In March 2014, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from Berklee College of Music in Boston.
